We have received an overwhelming number of applicants, signifying strong interest from our members to lead the Association forward. After deliberations amongst the outgoing SEAMSA EC members, the new set of officers are selected.

The new Executive Council will serve SEAMSA for 2 years, from February 2026 to January 2028.

We are glad that the Council is still composed of individuals from diverse institutional backgrounds, ensuring further reach of the Association across the region. We invite everyone to actively engage with SEAMSA and work together in building more networks and collaborations among Southeast Asian Media Studies scholars.
