What is SEAMSA?

The SOUTHEAST ASIAN MEDIA STUDIES ASSOCIATION (SEAMSA) is an international, non-profit, non-government community of academics, researchers, media practitioners, and institutions who are actively committed to the study and research of the mass media in/of Southeast Asian countries and peoples.

MEMBERSHIP

SEAMSA is open to all students, academics, scholars, media practitioners, and institutions who are actively committed to the study of the mass media in/of Southeast Asian countries and peoples.

THE SEAMS JOURNAL

The Southeast Asian Media Studies or SEAMS is the official peer-reviewed academic journal of SEAMSA. It publishes research related to media and communication in/of Southeast Asian nations and peoples.

ISEAMS CONFERENCE

The International Southeast Asian Media Studies Conference or ISEAMS Conference is an upcoming venue for the presentation and recognition of high quality research on Southeast Asian media industries, practices, and cultures, among others.
